College Plan

Well the plan that i have now is to go to shasta to get my prerequisites done
for court reporting. Then possibly a Legal arts school, most likely somewhere in california.
I've heard there are many good schools, and i'm hoping chico will have some classes
to offer too. But after that i plan to get settled as a court reporter for awhile, save up some
money and then go back to a school i can afford and become a psychologist.
Although it sounds a bit far-fetched, i realize that this is my life and i really only get one
chance to do it right. It's been hard getting my butt in gear, considering high school has
flown by for me.
I chose court reporting as a base because i had to have a solid career path before i go
into something that takes so much time and money. Court reporting doesn't take very long,
and i'm also a very quick typist. I type 85 to 90 on average, and i can hyperfocus on listening to people very well. So i thought it fit. I'm going to job shadow eventually and see whether or not
i would like it. Court reporting earns decent wages, and its something i feel i would be good at.
They start out at about $50,000 a year and can go all the way up to $140,000, which Isn't bad.
